Analogous

This exhibition features ceramics by 12 artists from the Daum Collection. Three works from each artist have been selected to highlight variation while providing consistency. Explorations of form and color intersect with investigations of subject matter to offer a vivid manifestation of the power of clay to communicate abstract and concrete meaning.  This relationship is effective within the pieces of the individual and between the artists because the work shares a common materiality. Artists in the exhibition include Cary Esser, Suzanne Fagermo, Misty Gamble, Yoshiro Ikeda, Joyce Japlonski, Jun Kaneko, Ole Lislerud, Don Reitz, Bobby Silverman, George Timock, Betty Woodman, and Dam Wouter.
